We’re in this together: Organizations we support

Startpage’s number one mission is to protect the privacy of our users. That is why we support a number of global organizations that are committed to data protection and the right to privacy.

Ever since our founding in 2006, we have been on a mission to protect the privacy of our users. One way we do that is by offering them the safest search engine in the world. But consumers are still being tracked, profiled, and followed in many other places online. That’s why every year we support a number of global organizations who share our mission to protect personal data and the right to privacy.

Since our revenue model based on contextual ads, has made us profitable from the beginning, we have been able to support some of these groups for many years. Here, we want to highlight the valuable work these organizations do, as they all play an important role in protecting our data online. And if you like their work as much as we do, be sure to follow them on social media.
